Hi There Your obviously Interested in the Lotus Elan M100.This is a Hand built British Sports car.Whether your looking to buy or just browsing.you should find enough useful in formation on my site to help you..These are excellent cars.Fibreglass body ..Galvanised chassis...With regular oil changes the engines and gearboxes are good for 200,000 miles..without any major attention.....So with a body and chassis.that dont rot.and engines and gearboxes that last.

.There must be something wrong with these cars....It all started about 18 months ago i was looking for a 2 seater sports and wanted something quite different.I didnt even consider MX5'S ..MGF'S..Z3'S...So it was going to be a TVR Griffith.but after reading lots of bad things .and i dont own an oil field ..i decided against it..(thank god)..I liked the Fiat Barchetta but the steering wheel was on the wrong side.Meanwhile im being driven every weekend in a Honda S2000....Maybe i should get one of these..i like them but nah..To me all it had was its 6.0 second 0.62mph..and its150mph. top speed....Then i was walking down a road fairly near my house..and there was a calypso red J plate lotus SE..I stopped and looked...and looked it was in such good condition for 10 year old motor.

Next move was straight up on the web check these little cars out.....Autotrader to check the prices...the web to find out what actually goes wrong with these cars...That was when i realised i had to test drive one of these cars..Every Advert i replied to on the autotrader had sold their car and told me a long story about how they loved the car and were sad to see it go......Every car.i phoned for was sold.Then two weeks later a calypso red 1992 was advertised 1 mile up the road from where i live....TheAuto- trader had put the car in early by mistake and the bloke wasnt even home that weekend when the advert was out..So i left a message...And to cut a long story short i bought the car that i first see....

Lucky for me i was armed with enough information not to buy a complete pig.The car had 84,000miles on the clock enough bits of paperwork to make a large bonfire..Every MOT..and full Lotus Service history.The car werent perfect but .but it was a genuine car..and .....it was going to do coz summer was coming and i didnt want to be without a convertible.I have also done most jobs on cars..so anything wrong and no problem.i will fix it...Its exactly 1 year since i bought the car..And nothing abnormal has gone wrong...
