Its Arguable wether the service history is important...With the Elan What seems a bargain..could cost thousands to put right..Just because the service manual is up to date it doesnt automatically mean that your getting a good car.The car with the full service history will always sell easier.and command a better price...But if you know what your looking at and you can see that the engine is perfect...To be perfect it must have had oil changes..If it has new rear wishbones...how did they get there does it take a piece of paper to tell you there new..If the bodyworks perfect who really cares how it got perfect.......it was sprayed when it was new in the factory...so does it matter if its been resprayed..And about these stuck in cotton wool in the garage cars...are they any better ...No cars are better of f being used.....Although if you have no car knowledge it is far safer to go for the full service history...If a car is in good condition and has no service history.But i can see its been looked after i would still buy it..but i would still expect to pay a lower price..........................So after all that were none the Wiser He He....
